Filter Your Way to Clean Air

Since the European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ECCMID) came out with a study that says that car air conditioners reduce mold and microbes by almost 90%, it is reasonable to expect the same kind of results for household air conditioning.

Of course, this would only apply to a well-maintained unit–and the high rate of reduction would also be more likely in updated or new units that used hepafiltration.
