Fungi in Particulates-Should it affect air quality standards?

There are speculations that airborne fungi are highly present in particulates and may even effect the weather. A wide range of airborne species exists, but more is known about its behavior in the lab than when it is in an airborne state. The biological component is something to think about, especially if weather is being affected; and of course allergic response can be a consideration too. This could be significant, especially if outdoor levels are higher than anticipated; should the indoor-outdoor ambient air “normal” continue to be the standard?
