Mold and Pregnancy Don’t Mix

In case you’re wondering, mold and pregnancy don’t mix.

It’s common knowledge that if you’re pregnant, you make sure you’re eating fresh fruits and veggies in a balanced diet, stay away from hot tubs that raise the body temperature dangerously high, avoid drugs and infections. But in case you were wondering, you should avoid mold exposure too. While a small exposure can help a body create useful antibodies, long term exposure can contribute to more extreme allergic reactions.

Some molds are very dangerous for babies, and it would just stand to reason that those molds are likely to be dangerous to the unborn as well.

Just remember that mold is never good to inhale, and can cause harmful side affects not only to the mother and child, but also the rest of the family.
