Mold goes after More Public Buildings

Amesbury public safety structures have each been in need of repairs for several years, and have suffered outbreaks of toxic mold from water seepage into the old brick siding. Local firefighters have relocated into temporary trailers. The mayor is seeking a $2.4 million bond to renovate the deteriorating public structures, in the name of safety. Water seeping into the old bricks has caused damage to window sills and interior spaces and made an environment hospitable to mold.
