A Lackawanna County project funneled stormwater onto some property causing toxic mold and a $4.3 million toxic mold jury verdict.
And since that is tied up in court, the court is awarding Teresa Perrini and Theresa Koziell additional compensation because this case was filed in 2003. That’s a long time to wait for compensation, isn’t it?
The township claims a cap of $500,000 but that cap does not include delay damages. $3.3 million of the $4.3 million is against the township. A million is against Hanson Aggregates, the contractor.
